The Tiemann and Friesen labs recently set up a long term greenhouse experiment to look at the impact of of plant diversity and soil origin on switchgrass productivity and plant-microbe interactions. Check out some pictures below!
We’d also like to welcome a number of new technicians Daniela, Christin and Zhenyao that will be helping out with the MMPRNT project at KBS and main campus. The MMPRNT project also extends a big welcome to summer undergraduate students in the Evans Lab: Francisca (REU), Harry (REU), and Khalilah (URA) and Friesen Lab: Jon (LTER-REU), Brandon (SROP). Shaping up to be a great summer!
